Unzip the Smartbar Zip file. 2. Either: i. Copy all the .sis files to your Epoc release 5 (or higher) machine and double click each one it turn to install the necessary application files to your computer. OR ii. Connect your Epoc release 5 (or higher) machine to a PC containing the various .sis files and double click each .sis file to automatically install all the necessary application files. 3. Smartbar will now be available for use. The first time you run Smartbar a WORD file will be opened to give you a brief over view on how to use Smartbar. This file will be installed to C:\SmartbarIntro. Once you are happy with the contents of this file you may delete it. ____________ Registration Smartbar is shareware, NOT free software. You may use it for an evaluation period of 21 days, after which you must register to continue using it. Smartbar is distributed exclusively through Palmscape, and you can register in a number of ways: 1. Online. Simply visit the Palmscape internet site online at www.palmscape.com or www.palmscape.net. Full intructions are given on how to register using fully secure servers. 2. By telephone. Palmscape accept direct telephone and postal orders. Full instructions on how to register in this way can be found in the Smartbar help file. ________________ Smartbar history 26-Oct-99 - First public release. 25-Oct-99 - First public release (Version 1.2 Beta). A complete re-write due to the loss of original source code. Various bug fixes and improvements. 15-Oct-99 - Beta version 1.1 released. Version now includes a separate Smartbar containing the main tool buttons. 5 document group buttons available, instead of the previous three.
