PrvEdit v1.00F (Dec 28 1997) ============================ About PrvEdit ------------- PrvEdit is a freeware tool to create and edit provider template files for PsiMail Internet. PrvEdit can extract all embedded access points and the connection script, and edit the informatation in Data, and in PsiMail Internet's Setup. Installation ------------ All files to be installed are suitable for storage on Flash SSDs. Manual Installation ------------------- 1. Copy PRVEDIT.OPA to an \APP\ directory on any disk. 2. Copy PRVEDIT.HLP to an \APP\PRVEDIT\ directory on any disk. Note: Create the directories first if they do not exist. Note: Help is optional: if you want to save space you do not need to install the PRVEDIT.HLP file, however I highly recommend that Help is installed. Installation using Control File ------------------------------- 1. Copy all files in the PRVEDIT.ZIP file into an empty temporary directory on your computer (PC, Macintosh, or Psion). 2. Use an appropriate installtion program - ie: PsiSetup for Windows, (supplied with PsiMail Internet), PsiMac for Macintosh, Psion Setup or iWizard for the Psion Series 3a/3c - and choose the PRVEDIT.CTL control file. Follow the program's instructions. Usage ----- This should be clear. Read the help topics for explanation of the edit and script/access points manipulation features. About Psion Setup ----------------- Psion Setup is a freeware app to aid in the installation of programs supplied with .CTL control files.
