SUB-MISSION (c) 500 Things Software 1996 V1.01 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ NOTE : This is an un-registered copy. It will only play 5 out of the 30 levels which are in the full version. There are no real nag screens to anony you, but if you do like it... please register :-) STORY ~~~~~ Hidden in the ocean's depths are many wonders. It is your job to collect samples of the wealth of different crystals which form in the underwater caverns. You have control the NRJ-25 sub which was specially developed for this type of environment. Due to the extreme danger of diving at these depths your air supply is supported at the cave's opening, with a connecting pipe your only life support the mission is full of danger. DO YOU ACCEPT??? INSTALLING ~~~~~~~~~~ Copy the file SUBMIS.OPA into your \APP\ directory. Copy the remaining files into the directory \APP\SUBMIS\ NOTE : The SUBDAT.1 to SUBDAT.4 files are needed. The SUBSND files are not but the game may sound strange unless you turn the sound off. HOW TO PLAY ~~~~~~~~~~~ The air pipe connected to the sub is your lifeline. You cannot double back on yourself, instead you must retract the air cable to move back. Many dangerous creatures inhabit the caves. If they find your air supply they will bite through the cable causing the sub to implode! The sub is covered with a force field which can be used to stun the creatures, but only the sub is protected. KEYS ~~~~ Version 1.00 allowed the use of Cursor Keys. This has been removed. Believe me these controls are easier to use and the control code has been revamped to make them even better!! These keys are much more natural when "holding" the Psion. UP - A DOWN - Z LEFT - , RIGHT - . RETRACT - SHIFT PAUSE - ENTER QUIT - Escape REGISTERING ~~~~~~~~~~~ The full version of Sub-Mission costs 10 U.K. Pounds or 18 American dollors. For your money you get a Registered version of the game which gives you access to all 30 devious levels of Sub-Mission. Registration is done my sending me a cheque/postal order to the address at the end of this text. I will then send you a registration number.
