Notepad Deluxe 1.0 - ACT! patch --------------------------- File: Npdpatch.opa Use: Only for ACT! users When linking a note to an ACT! database, Notepad Deluxe creates a datalink and searches for a linked entry in ACT!. Notepad uses the "Company" lookup as the default method for lookup. Some users may prefer searching by "Keyword", which looks in all fields. To enable this, Npdpatch will copy one of Notepad's program files to the Internal disk, and patch it to use the Lookup method you need. The patch can be applied as many times as you like,so if you end up not liking the Keyword Lookup, it can be changed back. However, if you choose to set Notepad Deluxe back to searching by "Company" just delete the file on the Internal disk called "\app\npad\np2.opo, unless you are running Notepad from your Internal disk. In this case, don't delete anything. Use the patch to set it back to Lookup by "Company". Installing the Patch --------------------- Npdpatch.opa should be copied to any \App directory. Press Psion-I to install it's icon to the system screen.
